What began as a love for gardening slowly became a love for water.

In our first year of marriage, we built a koi pond at our family nursery and quickly fell in love with the calming sound of flowing water, vibrant koi, and the way water transforms a space into something peaceful and alive. That passion eventually led us to open Wishing Well in 2005 beside our family business, S.O. Nursery, which was founded by our grandparents in 1945.

Now three generations later, our family businesses continue to grow side by side. For over 30 years, we’ve worked together building not only businesses, but a life centered around creativity, family, and community.

Today, Wishing Well is a waterscape boutique focused on bringing peace and inspiration through water gardening. We specialize in koi ponds, fountains, custom drilled rock water features, aquatic plants, koi, fancy goldfish, and pond supplies. We also offer home and garden decor, houseplants, gifts, and our year-round Christmas room featuring Oregon-grown Christmas trees and custom flocking.

More than anything, we love creating a welcoming place where people can slow down, dream, and find inspiration for their homes and gardens.
